In the Indian market, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) makes vehicles available for sale in many segments. But the company has officially introduced two scooters Honda Activa E and QC1 in the Electric Scooter segment. Two Electric Scooters were introduced

Honda has introduced Honda Activa E and QC 1 as Electric Vehicles in the Indian market. Both these scooters have many great features.

How are the features

The company has given such features in the Honda Activa Electric Scooter. In Activa E, the company has given a seven-inch screen, the Honda Road Sing Duo app which can be used for OTA updates, calls, and service. Apart from this, it has features like a big seat, smart key, USB C and hook, smart connectivity, inbuilt GPRS, day and night mode, and navigation.

The Honda QC1 scooter has a five-inch screen. Apart from this, it has an under-seat storage of 26 liters capacity. It has been brought in color options. This electric scooter has a classy rear-view mirror and stylish 12-inch front alloy wheels.

How powerful is the motor and battery

The Honda Activa E has two batteries of 1.5kW capacity. With which it can be also driven at the speed of 80 kilometers per hour safely. Due to this Honda Activa E gets a range of 102 kilometers.

It takes 7.3 seconds for the Honda Activa E to achieve a speed of 0-60 kilometers. It has Econ, Standard, and Sport modes for riding. The battery installed in it generates a peak power of 6 kW and a torque of 22 Nm. ACTIVA e has three riding modes, which are Econ, Standard, and Sport.

On the other hand, the second scooter Honda QC1 offered by the company has been brought with a fixed battery of 1.5 kWh capacity. It can be driven up to 80 kilometers after a full charge. The scooter can be charged 0-80 percent in four hours and 100 percent in six hours at home with a 330-watt off-board charger. Its maximum power rating is 1.8 kW and its maximum torque is 77 Nm.

Warranty

A warranty of the three years or the 50 thousand kilometers is being given to the customers. This warranty offer will be given on scooters with fixed and removable batteries.

Along with this, two packages have also been given for the maintenance of the scooter, in which the basic package includes a year warranty, three free services, and one year of roadside assistance.

When will the price be announced

According to the information given by the company, the prices of both these electric scooters will be announced in January 2025.

Who will compete with

The Honda Activa Electric scooter, launched as the first Electric Scooter by Honda, will compete directly in the market with electric scooters like Ola, Ather, Vida, TVS iQbue, and Chetak.
