Electric two-wheeler manufacturer ZELIO Ebikes has today officially launched its new low-speed electric scooter X-MEN 2.0 in the domestic market. Some new features and technology have been used in it which make it better than the previous model.
Equipped with attractive looks and a powerful battery pack, the starting price of this scooter has been fixed at Rs 71,500 (ex-showroom).
The company says that this scooter has been designed in such a way that it is capable of meeting the daily ride needs of common people. The company has designed this scooter keeping in mind school-college students, office goers, or city travellers.
The company has introduced this scooter in four different variants with lead-acid and lithium-ion battery packs, whose prices also vary.
How is this electric scooter
The look and design of X-MEN 2.0 is largely similar to the previous model. But the company has made some cosmetic changes to it. As a low-speed electric scooter, it has a BLDC electric motor of 60/72V capacity. The company claims that this scooter gives a maximum driving range of 100 km on a single charge and its top speed is 25 km / h.
Full charge
ZELIO claims that the battery of this electric scooter consumes a maximum of 1.5 units of electricity to be fully charged. If you use this scooter in Delhi, then the charge for 0–200 units of electricity here is approximately Rs 3 to Rs 4.16 per unit. If the average is considered to be Rs 5 per unit, then for 1.5 units of electricity you will have to spend a maximum of Rs 7.5. That is, for just Rs 7.5, you can avail a driving range of about 100 km.
Charging time and payload
The 90 kg electric scooter is capable of carrying a maximum load (payload) of up to 180 kg. That is, two people can easily travel on it. Since it has been introduced with two different battery packs, the lithium battery takes 4 to 5 hours to be fully charged and the lead-acid battery takes about 8 to 10 hours to be fully charged.
These features are available
The company has included some special features in X-MEN 2.0. Apart from disc brakes at the front and rear, it has an alloy wheel in the front. The rear wheel is connected to a hub motor.
A Telescopic fork is available in the front and spring-loaded shock observer suspension is available in the rear. Apart from this, features like an anti-theft alarm, parking switch, reverse gear, USB phone charging port, digital display, auto-repair switch, and central locking make this scooter better. The company is giving a warranty of up to 10,000 km on this scooter.
The company has introduced X-MEN 2.0 with a total of four vibrant color options. Which includes green, white, silver, and red color.
